Wilma Lee Spaulding

1944—2024

Wilma Lee Spaulding, 79, of Lovely, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, at the Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.

Born July 13, 1944 in Pilgrim, she was the daughter of the late Warren G. Jude and Annie Howell Jude.

Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Spaulding; son, Rudolph Spaulding II; and brother, Louie Jude.

Wilma leaves behind her loving sons, Roy (Chico) Spaulding of Lovely, Bill Don (Hazel) Spaulding and Rudolph (Tasha) Spaulding, both of Muncie, Indiana, as well as seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two on the way. She also leaves behind her brothers, Doug, Woody, Dewey and Darrell Jude, all of Pilgrim, Julius Jude of Martin County, and Mickey Jude of Inez, and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, at the Martin County Freewill Baptist Church in Pilgrim, with Bobby Mullins and Joe Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at the Warfield Cemetery on Groundhog Holler, Warfield. Friends may visit until the time of the funeral.
