William Michael Tippie

1951—2024

William Michael Tippie, 72, of Inez, passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.

Born March 18, 1951, in Athens, Ohio, he was the son of the late Riley and Gracie Tippie.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.

William is survived by his children, Ashley (Charles Defoe) Tippie of Greenup, Christine (Cole) Baker and Patrick Tippie, both of Columbus, Ohio, and William Tippie of Athens, Ohio; and several grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, Feb. 19, 2024, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez. Burial was at the Harless Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
