Jimmy Watson Fletcher

Jimmy Watson Fletcher, age 47, of Akron, Ohio, passed away Feb. 12, 2024.

Born Jan. 16, 1977, in Louisa, Kentucky, he was the son of Charles Michael Newsome and Leatha Mae Crum Newsome.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Angela Fouty; three sons, Jimmy Watson Fletcher Jr., Michael Fletcher and Nathan Fletcher, all of Akron, Ohio; three daughters, Chasidy (Kenny) Espinoza and Elizabeth Fletcher, both of Akron, Ohio, and Natasha Fletcher of West Virginia; two brothers, Rodney (Amy) Crum of Delaware, Ohio, and Charles Ray Crum of Inez, Kentucky; three sisters, Rachel (David) Toops of Delbarton, West Virginia, Lisa (Aaron) Francis of Palestine, Texas, and Eunice Blackburn of Inez; two special nephews, Charles Crum Jr. and Sinister Ratcliff; several nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Angela Meade. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Michalyn Espinoza, Kenny Espinoza Jr., Preston McCumbers, Zaylee McCumbers, Olivian McCumbers, Owen McCumbers and one grandchild on the way.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
