PRESTONSBURG — Big Sandy Community and Technical College has over $200,000 available in scholarship funding and invites students to apply now.

Madison Taylor is an example of the impact of scholarships. She is a first-year student enrolled in the dental hygiene program at the Mayor campus of BSCTC and has been honored as a recipient of the prestigious Harris S. Howard Memorial Scholarship.

“Receiving this scholarship will reduce financial hardships so that I can focus on my education,” Taylor said.
