Joann Brown Richardson
1969—2024

Joann Brown Richardson, 44, of Kermit, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, at Tug Valley ARH in South Williamson, Kentucky.

Born Aug. 26, 1969, in Williamson, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Alice Bailey Brown.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Frieda Hodge.

Joann was a homemaker and member of Stepptown Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jerry Richardson of Kermit; sons Jerry Evan (Adrienne) Richardson of Flatwoods, Kentucky, Lee, Braxton and Ronnie Richardson, all of Kermit; daughter Braelynn Richardson of Kermit; as well as four grandchildren, Dawson, Tucker, Mariah and Beckem; and brothers Scottie and Ronnie Brown of Ulysses.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, at Mullins Family Funeral Home, Warfield, with Baptist ministers officiating. Burial was at the Brewer-Fitzpatrick Cemetery on Marrowbone Creek, Kermit. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
