Martin County Arrest Report

INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:

Dustin Stacy

Dustin Stacy, 32, of Tomahawk, was arrested Tuesday on Route 645 in Inez for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Chief Deputy Chris Kidd reported that Stacy was a passenger in a vehicle where the driver was arrested. Upon exiting the vehicle, Stacy “was acting nervous and attempted to walk away.” Officers noticed a bulge in Stacy’s pocket. They asked if they could pat him down for officer safety. Upon searching Stacy, Deputy G. Clark found a Marlboro pack containing clear baggies with a crystal substance inside. Stacy allegedly told officers the substance was meth.

Bryan Moore

Bryan Moore, 53, of Inez, was arrested Tuesday on Route 645 in Inez for speeding 26 mph over the limit, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license and failure to produce an insurance card. Kidd made the arrest.

Dustin Nicholas Lee Bryant

Dustin Nicholas Lee Bryant, 24, of Hode, was arrested Sunday on Dingess Road in Hode for disorderly conduct and terroristic threatening. Deputy Chris Sesco was called to a residence where Bryant allegedly was causing a scene, cursing and threatening to harm others and property.

Carmel Stacy

Carmel Stacy, 43, of Debord, was arrested Thursday on Crum Branch in Debord for first-degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine). Kidd made the arrest.

Anthony Michael Jude

Anthony Michael Jude, 46, of Pilgrim, was arrested Jan. 31 on Route 645 for a bench warrant out of Boyd County, a bench warrant out of Martin County, a bench warrant out of Lawrence County, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance/security and operating on suspended or revoked operator’s license. Sheriff Kirk arrested Jude. During a pat-down, the sheriff found a bullet in Jude’s pocket and a waist holster in the small of his back. The sheriff also found a handgun under the passenger side seat inside the vehicle. According to the police report, two passengers in the vehicle denied knowing anything about the gun.
