Dustin Dotson

Dustin Dotson, 36, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away Jan. 30, 2024, at Pike Adena Hospital in Piketon, Ohio.

Born Sept. 17, 1987, in Man, West Virginia, he was the son of Joann Marcum of Portsmouth, Ohio, and the late Ricky Dotson.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his step-father, James Crabtree; grandparents, Curtis and Ivy Marcum and James and Bill Dotson; and several aunts and uncles.

Survivors include his daughters, Ashley, Ivy and Grace Dotson of Portsmouth, Ohio; mother, Joann Marcum of Portsmouth, Ohio; brothers, Devin Dotson of Portsmouth, Ohio, Eugene (Nicole) Dotson of Milton, Florida, and Christopher Dotson of Charleston, West Virginia; sisters, Sabrina Dotson and Sharon (Mariah) Gray of Portsmouth, Ohio; a host of nieces and two nephews. He also leaves behind his uncle, Ed (Priscilla) Marcum of Naugatuck, West Virginia, and aunts, Cindy (Timmy) Spurlock of Delbarton, West Virginia, and Patricia (Jim) Stanley of Portsmouth, Ohio.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, at the Nolan Church of God. Burial was at the Dotson Family Cemetery, Pipeyard Hollow, Canada, Kentucky. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
