Lucien Douglas Savage
1942—2024

Lucien Douglas Savage, 82, gained his wings Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, at ARH South Williamson.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Alva and Brisco Savage; grandparents Emmie and Sam Biliter; brothers Leroy and Donald Savage; sister and brother-in-law Georgie and Homer Howard; son Lucien Douglas Savage II; and three grandchildren, Jessica Biliter, Brandon Hunt and Donna Sue Messer.

Lucien was a member of the Jesus Church in Micco, West Virginia.

He leaves behind his grandchildren, Tyler and Brycen Savage, George Ball and Shaun Ball, all of Naugatuck, West Virginia, and Chanda Hunt of Ohio. He also leaves behind three brothers, David Whitt of Columbus, Ohio, William Savage of Ohio, and Chris Savage of Chattaroy, West Virginia; three daughters, Darlene Meadows of Kermit, West Virginia, Donna Ratcliff of Fort Gay, West Virginia, and Debbie Hunt of Crum, West Virginia; and four close friends, Pamela and Buddy Thompson and Donald and Mae Collins of Dan Branch.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at the Mullins Family Funeral Home in Warfield, Kentucky, with Pastor Jimmy Fletcher officiating. Burial was at the Dan Branch Cemetery.
