ASHLAND — Martin County shooting guard Luke Hale was named to the Ashland Invitational Tournament All-Tournament Team after turning in 69 points in three games for a 23-points-per-game average.
Hale knocked down six 3-pointers vs. Ohio County on his way to a 34-point night. He scored 18 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Cardinals to the 76-70 victory.
Hale tallied six 3-pointers the following night and finished with 25 points vs. Morgan County.
The senior is averaging 23.9 points per game for the Cardinals this season, shooting 85.7% from the free-throw line, 44.6% from the field and 35.4% from the 3-point zone. He is also averaging five rebounds per game.
