WARFIELD — Brittany Tiller is the new head coach for the Martin County Middle School volleyball program.
Tiller, a 2011 Sheldon Clark High School graduate, was a center fielder in softball and setter in volleyball during her high school years. She brings a wealth of athletic experience to the program.
“As a former volleyball player, it’s an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to lead the Martin County Middle School volleyball program,” Tiller said. “I have a strong passion for the success of our student-athletes, which includes their success within the classroom.”
Currently serving as a social studies teacher at Martin County High School, Tiller is working toward her master’s degree at the University of the Cumberlands.
“I look forward to working with the players and can’t wait to get in the gym and start practicing within the next couple of weeks,” said Tiller. “I am already working on a game schedule with the goal of preparing these young ladies for high school volleyball. My vision is to build a successful program, and I encourage the community to come out and support these young ladies.”
