Sing in the New Year at Appalachian Artist Festival’s Private New Year’s Eve Concert featuring artists Cody Christian and Brayden Mullins. A $20 donation grants access to the event from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday in Room 318 at the Collier Center in Inez.
Country and bluegrass music fans are in for a treat.
Christian has penned and released songs such as “Why’d It Have to Rain Today,” “Mourning Dove,” and “Canary in a Coal Mine.” He is set to release his latest EP, “Live in the Living Room,” Jan. 5 featuring four new songs.
Mullins recently completed his first studio project, “Unfamiliar Writings,” with special guest musician Carson Peters playing fiddle at Dwayne Castle Music Studio in West Virginia. Streaming will be available in February.
All proceeds from Sunday will benefit the Appalachian Artist Festival 2024, set for Aug. 3 in downtown Inez.
