Sammie White Jr.

1964—2023

Sammie White Jr., 59, of Verdunville, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, at his home.

Born April 25, 1964, in Logan County, he was the son of the late Sammy White and Imogene Dempsey White.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. 

Sammie is survived by his two children, Samantha (Donovan) White Rose of Kermit and Rex Allen White of Mudfork; one granddaughter, Elliana Rose; and three siblings, Ronald White Jr., Randy (Dana) White and Sandra White. 

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023, at the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Dingess, with Robert Vance officiating. Burial was at the Imogene White Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Kentucky.
