Manuel Ray Stafford

1954—2023

Manuel Ray Stafford, 69, of Inez, passed away Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, at Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg.

Born July 28, 1954, in Martin County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Nancy Stafford.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Chris Stafford and five siblings, Charles Stafford, Carl David Stafford, Sammy Stafford, Judy Stanley and Dolly Hamilton.

Manuel is survived by his wife, Rita Dials Stafford, one grandson, Christopher Peyton Stafford, daughter-in-law, Reisa Stafford, all of Inez, and one brother, Kenneth Stafford of Lovely.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Kevin Davis and Nathan Harless officiating. Burial will follow at the Stafford Family Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
