INEZ — Martin County Lady Cards came out on top 74-31 in a home matchup Dec. 5 with Tug Valley.
The Lady Cards took a 21-12 lead over the Lady Panthers in the first quarter, then outscored them 24-5 in the second frame.
Martin County had a 45-17 advantage at the half and maintained control to finish the victory.
Laken Williams scored a game-high 23 points for Martin County. Alyssa Allen knocked down four 3-pointers and finished with 12 points, while Katie Marcum added 11. Kennadi Mollett and Brooke Marcum each contributed six points, Maci Maynard and Candace Spaulding finished with five each, Annaleigh Davis added four and Chloe May scored two.
Kenzie Browning led the Lady Panthers with 13 points. Haven Deskins and Bailee Hall followed with eight points each, and Katelyn Richardson chipped in two.
