Shelia Elkins
1957—2023

Shelia Elkins, 65, of Winco Block, Williamson, West Virginia, passed away at home Friday, Dec. 8, 2023.

Born Dec. 10, 1957, in Williamson, she was the daughter of the late Doug and Beulah York New.

She is preceded in death by her son, Billy Maynard, and siblings, John L. Ferguson, Richard Lee Ferguson, Darrell Wayne Ferguson, George Thomas Ferguson, Arthur Henry Hatfield, Douglas Eugene Ferguson, Drema New and Kathy Hensley.

Shelia was a homemaker.

Survivors include her son, Donald Elkins; daughter, Nikki Elkins; grandchildren, Paisley, Madison and Jordan Elkins; siblings, Jimmy Stamperd, Becky Maynard, Ethel Spradlin, Sharon Kay Mullins and Donnie New; one special cousin, Donnie Jarvis; special great-niece, Aurora Ailiff; and special great-great-nephew, Waylon Maynard.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, at noon at the Mullins Family Funeral Home, Warfield, with Earl White officiating. Burial will follow at the Jarvis Cemetery in Williamson. Friends may visit the funeral home from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday. There will be a special service at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
