Jesse James Robinson
1945—2023

Jesse James Robinson, 78, of Beauty, passed away Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, at the Martin County Health Care Facility in Inez.

Born Feb. 28, 1945, in McDowell County, West Virginia, he was the son of the late David and Hazel Ann Reed Robinson.

Jesse is preceded in death by his children, James Robinson and Serena Ann Robinson, and siblings Shirley Ferguson, David and Roger Robinson.

He was a carpenter by trade and a United States Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam era. He was also a Christian.

Jesse is survived by his wife of 52 years, Geneva Dillon Robinson of Beauty; son, Jacob (Crissy) Robinson of Beauty; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings Eddie Kimble of Indiana, Janice Baisden, Brenda Vymola and Mandy Kimble, all of Chicago; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, at Mullins Family Funeral Home, Warfield, with Bobby and Joe Mullins officiating. He was cremated after the services. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
