Deputies seize over 40 grams of crystal meth in Harold

HAROLD — The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office seized more than 40 grams of methamphetamine Sunday night in Harold.

Deputies were on patrol when they made contact with Jill Adkins, a 40-year-old resident of Harold. During their interaction, officers discovered that Adkins had over 40 grams of methamphetamine, plastic baggies, digital scales, other drug paraphernalia and prescription pills in her possession.

Adkins faces charges of trafficking in a controlled substance, first (crystal meth), possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance, third (prescription medicine).

Adkins was lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center.
