INEZ — Eden Elementary Wildcats showed their prowess on the basketball court Thursday, sweeping Inez at home in A-, B- and C-teams wins.

Eden A-team finished with a 39-16 victory over Inez as two Wildcats scored double digits.

Luke Preece led Eden with 12 points and Brayden Marshall followed with 10. Skyler Green scored six points, Hunter Phelps chipped in five, Chucky Leonard added four and Hyden Reed flipped in two.

For Inez, Brayden Hammond led with 12 points, while Kason Evans and Blaine Williams each contributed two.

Eden B team secured a narrow 17-15 win over Inez. Zander Sammons and Jonah McCoy each contributed four points for the Wildcats, while Grayson Mollette, Parker Stafford, Kaiden Bertling and Kegan Rice each added two points each.

Eden C-team came out on top of a convincing 18-7 victory over the Indians.

Kingston Deskins led Eden with nine points, Lyric Howell and Jaxon Maynard added four each, and Charlie Burke chipped in one.

Raylan Preston led Inez with seven points.
