Peggy Lou Noakes
1939—2023

Peggy Lou Noakes, 84, of Louisa, passed away Monday, Oct. 16, 2023, at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa.

Born Sept. 17, 1939, in Logan, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Robert D. Lambert and Hallie Preece Lambert.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Survivors include her children, John (Bonnie) Noakes of Louisa and Rebecca (Rick) Crum of Inez; grandchildren, John Robert Noakes, Gage Noakes, Eddie Ratliff, Brandon Ratliff and Heather Coots; and great-grandchildren, John Iris Noakes, Trystin Noakes, Story Noakes, Harrison Noakes, Zaden Coots, Kinslee Callaham, Brystol Coots, Paislee Ratliff, Bryler Ratliff, River Newman and Dez Mills. One brother, Robert Lambert of Milton, West Virginia, also survives. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Jimmy Horn officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
