Paul Delano Meade
1939—2023

Paul Delano Meade, 84, of Kermit, West Virginia, passed away Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, at Trinity Healthcare in Logan.

Born Feb. 8, 1939, in Kermit, he was the son of the late Wallace Meade and Virgie Stepp Meade.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Sue Marcum, and two sisters and one brother.

Paul leaves behind his wife, Madeline Meade; two children, Tim (Corinne) Meade of Asheville, North Carolina, and Lisa Newsome of Kermit; two grandchildren, Spencer Stevens and Brooke Stevens; and one great-grandchild, Kinley Stevens.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at the Kermit Freewill Baptist Church with Walter Marcum officiating. Burial was at the Meade Cemetery on Marrowbone Creek, under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
