INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Department reported the following arrests:
Floyd Howell, 50, of Inez, was arrested Tuesday on E. Main Street in Inez for possession of a controlled substance, prescription not in proper container, no insurance and no registration. Sheriff Kirk stopped Howell’s vehicle for crossing the center line. According to the arrest report, Howell produced four white pills that he stated were Gabapentin.
Norman Fletcher, 72, of Inez, was arrested Tuesday on E. Main Street in Inez for two counts of prescription controlled substance not in proper container. The police report states that Fletcher was a passenger in a car that Sheriff Kirk had stopped. During the investigation, Fletcher produced a bag containing pills that he stated were Gabapentin.
Donald Perkins, 39, of Inez, was arrested Monday on Turkey Creek Road in Inez on a complaint warrant.
Wallace Marcum, 81, of Debord, was arrested Tuesday on a bench warrant. Officer Sisco made the arrest.
Selwyn Glenn Brewer, 55, of Beauty, was arrested Friday on an indictment warrant charging him with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), drug paraphernalia-buy/possession, driving on a DUI-suspended license and resisting arrest. Kidd made the arrest.
Anthony Jude, 46, of Tomahawk, was arrested Friday on Rockhouse Road in Tomahawk on a warrant charging him with receiving stolen property $500-$1,000. Kidd made the arrest.
Nathan Blackburn, 28, of Warfield, was arrested Thursday for first-degree sexual abuse victim under 12 years of age. Kidd made the arrest.
Jonathan Mollett, 35, of Louisa, was arrested Friday at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Kidd made the arrest.
Johnny Fields, 62, of Warfield, was arrested Friday at Riverside Apartments on a warrant charging him with leaving the scene of an accident-failure to render aid or assistance. Kidd made the arrest.
Derrick Goble, 47, of Warfield, was arrested Friday on Poplar Fork in Beauty for driving on a DUI-suspended license. Kidd made the arrest.
Gwyan Horn, 50, of Inez, was arrested Friday on Route 3 in Debord for second-degree terroristic threatening. Kidd made the arrest.
Joann Reed, 64, of Beauty, was arrested Friday in Beauty on an indictment warrant charging her with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (opiates), prescription not in proper container, and alcohol intoxication in a public place. Kidd made the arrest.
Richard Nichols, 60, was arrested Friday on Poplar Fork in Beauty for public intoxication, prescription controlled substance not in proper container, and trafficking controlled substance less than 20 dosage units. The police report states Nichols was in a vehicle, was extremely intoxicated, and had slurred speech and difficulty concentrating.
Jordan Delong, of Inez, was arrested Thursday at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center on two warrants. Kidd made the arrest.
Jason D. Mollett, 42, of Tomahawk, was arrested Oct. 4 for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Kidd made the arrest.
Henry Butcher, 25, of Tomahawk, was arrested Oct. 4 on Mary Perry Road in Tomahawk for receiving stolen property under $500. According to the police report, Butcher was on video selling stolen items at Inez Pawn Shop. Deputy Kidd reported that upon his arrival at Butcher’s property, Butcher produced two standard toilets and one shower kit that were stolen from the same property, stating he knew the items were stolen.
