Earlier in the day, before the shooting, U.S. Marshals assembled on Old Toler Road close to the Total Pharmacy and Little Caesars Pizza on U.S. 119. They briefly halted traffic while the officers suited up in vests and prepared their weapons. Shortly after they appeared, Pike and Mingo County emergency lines received calls for law enforcement and EMS to head to the campground adjacent to U.S. 119 near Williamson.

Initial radio communications from first responders reported two potential fatalities and a third female victim, who could still communicate to some extent despite multiple gunshot wounds.

Within minutes of these transmissions, a call for radio silence was made.

A significant police presence remains at the scene, with traffic halted on Route 292.

Following the shooting, the Kentucky State Police released a BOLO (Be On the Look Out) alert for a 2015 white Dodge Charger driven by a Black male.

The KSP did not comment on the earlier presence of U.S. Marshals.

Separately, on Friday, the West Virginia State Police from Huntington also issued a BOLO concerning a vehicle of the same description. This vehicle’s driver is implicated in a domestic dispute, during which he allegedly inflicted severe injury and set a bed ablaze, leading to a structure fire. The public has been cautioned to be wary of this suspect, described as extremely dangerous and possibly in possession of a stolen black AR-style pistol and/or a 9mm handgun.

It remains uncertain whether the two BOLO alerts pertain to the same individual.

The names of the victims and the suspects have not been released.

This story is still unfolding. More updates will be provided as details emerge.
