Deborah Sue (Howell) Moore
1957—2023

Deborah Sue (Howell) Moore, age 66, of Pilgrim, passed away Sept. 25, 2023, at her residence.

Born June 29, 1957, in South Williamson, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Elizabeth Fletcher Howell.

Sue is survived by her husband, Eugene Moore; one son, Brad (Rosa) Moore of Inez; one daughter, Kelly Jo Moore of Virginia; and seven sisters, Irene Gamble of Hager Hill, Shelba Hensley, Phyllis (Milton) Marcum and Shirley (Darrell) Bowen, all of River, Kay (Roy) Maynard and Tammy (Gary) Maynard, both of Pilgrim, and Betsy (James) Maynard of Marysville, Ohio. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Austin (Michaela) Moore, Aaron Moore and Alan Moore.

Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home, with Gary Jude, Willis Staton and Glen Penix officiating. Burial will follow at the Clay Moore Cemetery in Pilgrim. Friends may visit the funeral home Wednesday and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be special services each night at 7 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
