James ‘Jimmy’ Ratliff
1963—2023

James “Jimmy” Edgil Ratliff, 59, of Williamsport, passed away at his home Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023.

He was born Oct. 25, 1963, to the late James Edgil Ratliff and Sara Meade Ratliff Williams. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Naomi Ratliff.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Renee Wimp Ratliff of Williamsport; four children, Eddie Ray Ratliff of Louisa, Heather (Daniel) Coots of Inez, Brandon (Emily) Ratliff of Louisa, and Devan Carroll of Paintsville; and six grandchildren, Zaden Coots, Kinslee Callaham, Brystol Coots, Paislee Ratliff, Bryler Ratliff and Zachary Carroll. He is also survived by one sister, Teresa Blevins of Williamsport.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Tommy Meade and Lonnie Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow at the Ratliff Cemetery in Inez. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
