Brian Lee Wefenstette

1969—2023

Brian Lee Wefenstette, 54, of Ashland, passed away at his home on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023.

Born April 29, 1969, in Chanute, Kansas, he was the son of the late Irvine Wayne Wefenstette and Rosslyn Engle Wefenstette.

Brian is survived by his daughter, Layla Ann Wefenstette of Van Lear; one grandson, Graham Wilder Wefenstette; and three siblings, Jason Wefenstette of Inez, Angeline Phoenix of Colorado and Irvine Wayne Wefenstette of Mississippi.

A memorial service was held Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, at the Big Sandy Community Church in Inez, with Terry Dalton officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
