Glenn Ray ‘Maverick’ Williams 

1963—2023

Glenn Ray “Maverick” Williams, 60, of Marrowbone in Kermit, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 4, 2023.

Born May 21, 1963, he was the son of the late Jarrett Williams and Inia Bailey. He is preceded in death by his siblings Audrey Yancey, Floyd Williams, Wayne Williams and Jarrett Williams, niece Laura Williams, nephew Bryson Alley and stepfather Charles Parsons.

Glenn was a loving father, uncle, grandpa and brother.

Survivors include his siblings, Georgia (Larry) Williams of Clarksburg, George (Bev) Williams of Wayne, Cora Williams, Shawn Williams, Jerry Williams, James (Donna) Williams; his daughter, Amy Fitzpatrick; sons Glenn Williams Jr. and Daniel Blevins; brother-in-law Roger Cable; and best friends and cousins Jimmy Williams and Les Williams.

He had a very loving heart and helped anyone he could. He loved all of his nieces and nephews so much, but Brian Cable, Arlis Self, Edgar Marcum, Mary Marcum, Caiden Williams, Shawn Williams, Stephanie Williams, Karen Williams and Kayla Perry always held a special place in his heart.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023, at the Welcome Home Church. Burial was in the Bailey Cemetery on Marrowbone. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
