Ray Carlos McCoy
1947—2023

Ray Carlos McCoy, 76, of Inez, Kentucky, passed away Aug. 3, 2023 at the Veterans Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.

He was born April 2, 1947 in Pike County, Kentucky, to the late Woodrow McCoy and Alice Coeva Pauley Newsome. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Pat McCoy and Tommy Pauley.

He is survived by one son, Frank McCoy of Ohio; three brothers, Shonnie Pauley and Lonnie Mitchell Pauley, both of Inez, and Ronnie Pauley of Virginia; and one sister, Regina Pauley of West Virginia.

At the request of the family there will be no services. Burial will be at the Veterans Cemetery in Grayson, Kentucky. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
