Imogene Messer
1954—2023

Imogene Messer, 69, of Holden, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington.

She was born July 18, 1954 in Wayne County to the late William Anderson Perry and Rose Meade Perry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Messer.

Imogene is survived by her two children, Clifford (Jennifer) Messer Jr. of McCarr, Kentucky, and Regina (James) Crum of Tomahawk, Kentucky; grandchildren, Kyle (Hannah) Messer, Cole Messer, Dominic Messer, Kaitlyn (Trey) Lafferty and Kara Crum; along with four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four siblings, Bobby (Joan) Perry of Kermit, Bill Perry Jr. of Holden, Abby (Charles) Crum of Tomahawk, Kentucky, and Donna Colegrove of Genoa.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023 at Warfield Chapel of the Callaham Funeral Home with Bobby Perry and Terry Pigman officiating. Burial was at the Family Cemetery in Genoa. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
