Tyler Blake Maynard

Tyler Blake Maynard, 27, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.

He was born Nov. 23, 1995, in Lexington, Kentucky, to Jessica Ann Maynard and the late Horace (Shorty) Robertson III. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Roger Dale Maynard, Ann Hope McCoy and Pamela Gross and one uncle, Roger Dale Maynard II, better known as “Brother.”

He is survived by his mother, Jessica Ann Maynard; brothers, Austin Robertson and Nathan Roberston; sisters, Brooklyn Meeks, Madison Meeks, Ryleigh Pennington, Alexis Hammond, Macy Robertson; aunts, Kayla Maynard, Danielle Robertson and Jessica Robertson; grandparents, Horace Robertson II, Lois Harris, David Tackett; and great-grandparent, Ava Maynard. He is also survived by a special friend Alisha Adkins, and a host of nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends whose lives he touched and who loved him dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2023, at the Mullins Family Funeral Home in Warfield, Kentucky, with James Russell Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at the Maynard Cemetery in Inez, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Monday at 11 a.m. until the time of service. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
