Martin County Arrest Report

INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:

Charles Stacy

Charles Stacy, 60, of Lovely, was arrested Tuesday for second-degree forgery. Chief Deputy Chris Kidd made the arrest.

Hayes Maynard

Hayes Maynard, 46, of Beauty, was arrested Monday at 3059 Riverfront Road in Lovely on two bench warrants for failure to appear in court. Deputy J.C. Kirk made the arrest.

Alicia Howard, 40, of Debord, was arrested Monday in Lovely on a bench warrant for failure to appear. Deputy J.C. Kirk made the arrest.

Billy Jude, 58, of Lovely, was arrested Saturday on North Wolf Creek Road in Lovely for unlawful transaction with a minor, third degree.

Sheriff Kirk was dispatched to a residence on North Wolf Creek for a fight. The police report states several subjects at the location had been drinking alcohol. Jude allegedly admitted he bought and provided alcoholic beverages to minors.

James Tyson-Lee Collins

James Tyson-Lee Collins, 19, of Lovely, was arrested Saturday on North Wolf Creek Road in Lovely for alcohol intoxication in a public place, second-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Sheriff Kirk was dispatched to a residence on North Wolf Creek for a fight. The sheriff reported that when he arrived, several individuals were drinking alcohol at the location, and Collins was outside the residence under the influence of alcohol. Collins allegedly became disorderly after his father was arrested, screaming, cursing and calling the sheriff names. The police report states Collins attempted to break free from the sheriff during the arrest. After being handcuffed, he allegedly told Kirk he was not going to [explicit] jail. 

Bruce Bowen

Bruce Bowen, 63, of Ulysses, was charged Saturday on Little Lick Road, Inez, with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Deputy J.C. Kirk reported that Bowen wrecked his vehicle in a culvert next to Little Lick Road. When Bowen exited the vehicle, he allegedly admitted to Sheriff Kirk that he had drunk 8-10 beers. The police report states Bowen could not perform the field sobriety test. The deputy noted Bowen had slurred speech, glossy eyes and an odor of alcohol. Due to lacerations on Bowen’s head and arms, he was treated at ARH Paintsville and agreed to have a blood test.
