Helen Bush

1939—2023

Helen Bush, 84, of Pilgrim, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the Community Hospice in Ashland.

She was born May 9, 1939, in Martin County to the late Tom and Bertha Staten. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two husbands, Jim Dawson and Hector Bush and one sibling, Ermal Wilson.

Helen is survived by two siblings, Ruth (Richard) Fluty of Pilgrim and Julie Robinson of Paintsville, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Lonnie Smith officiating. Burial was at the Jobe Blackburn Cemetery in Pilgrim, under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
