INEZ — The offers keep piling up for Martin County football players in the offseason. Seniors Noah Mollette, Tate Crum and Bryston Wells received official offers from Union College, while Crum and Wells also received offers from Campbellsville University.

The Union College offer followed the Battle on Boonesboro Saturday at George Rogers Clark High School. It was the first offer for Mollette (#63), who plays on the offensive and defensive lines for the Cardinals.

“I am blessed to receive an opportunity to play football at the next level,” Mollette said. “I want to thank Union College and all my coaches and teammates for pushing me to be a better player.”

Crum and Wells received offers from Campbellsville University defensive coordinator Jody Ford after attending Campbellsville’s Prospect Camp. Ford visited MCHS and invited both players to the camp, where they participated in a series of drills and workouts. The offer came the following day.

Crum (#50) is regarded as one of the best centers in the mountains and has received several offers this summer.

Wells (#53) played offensive and defensive lines and led the Cardinals in solo tackles last season with 40, averaging 4.5 defensive sacks per game.

“I am extremely grateful to have received my second collegiate offer,” Wells said. “I would like to thank all my coaches, friends and family for encouraging me along the way. I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue doing what I love. My teammates have pushed me to get better.”

Wells added, “I believe this team and the 2023 season will be one of the best Martin County has ever seen.”

Mollette, Wells and Crum continue to shine as they prepare for their senior campaign.
