Skylynn Jay Lee Frances Brewer
2018—2023
Skylynn Jay Lee Frances Brewer, 4 years of age, of New London, Ohio, returned to the heavenly Father on Saturday, June 24, 2023.
Sissy came into this world full of spunk and sass. She was born Nov. 7, 2018, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, a daughter of Kelsey Williamson and William Brewer.
Skylynn is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Willard Marcum, Ray Williamson, Fanny Christine and Grover Brewer, grandparents Ronald Williamson and Deiona Brewer and great-uncle Albert Ray Williamson.
Those left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Christiv Brewer and Dausyn McDonald; loving grandparents, Missie and Jessie Spaulding and William and Melissa Brewer; great-grandparents Lois Marcum and Beulah Williamson; aunts Skyler (Austin) Kitchen, Christina Brewer and Keisha Canterbury; uncles Bobo (Melody) Williamson, Isaiah Brewer and Riley Canterbury; cousins Christina, Konnor, Korben, Kaizlee and Carson Williamson and Indie Hager and Asher Kitchen; and a host of family and friends.
Skylynn was a little girl who left her unique touch on this world. She was spunky, sassy and danced to the beat of her own drum. Those who knew her knew she was something special, and those who didn’t knew she was special within a few seconds of meeting her. Once she had her mind set on something, you knew she was going to do it regardless if she got into trouble or not. She could be mischievous and sneaky and had a way of getting you to do what she wanted. She was just as rough as any little boy and didn’t care to show you how rough she really was. She loved with her entire heart, which was made of pure gold.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, June 30, 2023, at the Mullins Family Funeral Home in Warfield. Burial was at the Anderson Cemetery on Jennies Creek. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
