INEZ — Two men were indicted on felony drug charges Friday on the Rocket Docket in Martin County.
George Dalton, 25, a resident of Inez, faces a charge of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense. The indictment alleges Dalton had methamphetamine in his possession June 9.
James Allen Muncy, 40, of Paintsville, has been charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense. Muncy is accused of having methamphetamine in his possession Feb. 12.
Both men are scheduled for arraignment July 6 in Martin Circuit Court.
First-degree possession of a controlled substance is a Class D felony. It carries potential penalties of one to three years in prison for a first offense and possible fines of $10,000 or less.
The Rocket Docket is designed to expedite the court process in cases related to certain non-violent offenses, primarily drug-related charges.
