CITIZEN STAFF REPORT
INEZ — An unforgettable day of enchantment unfolded Saturday as the Martin County High School Cheerleaders hosted their highly anticipated “A Princess Party.”
The event welcomed little princesses from all over the county and beyond to the MCHS courtyard, creating a whirl of excitement.
The festivity saw the transformation of seven cheerleaders into beloved Disney Princesses. Kadence Blackburn charmed attendees as Jasmine, Shae Jewell embodied Moana’s fearless spirit, Brooke Marcum represented Pocahontas, Marlee Grayson captured hearts as Sleeping Beauty, Caroline Mills delighted everyone as Bell, Kaylee Endicott enchanted as Cinderella, and Kennadi Mollette made a splash as Ariel.
An equally impressive royal court accompanied these Disney Princesses, featuring Reese Blankenship, Bailey Parsons, Addison Sweeney, Addison Kerr, Lexi Yates, Kristin Preece, Abby Collins, Mali Fletcher, Lexi Sammons, Adalynn Maynard, Liv Howell, Kambria Fluty, Kylee Grace, Mia Preece, Claire Horn and London Fraley.
The event’s itinerary was chock-full of fairytale-inspired activities. The little princesses reveled in having their nails painted and makeup done by the Disney Princesses, an experience akin to royal pampering.
Bell read a captivating story to the little ones and every princess received a complimentary book.
The event highlights included princesses big and small dancing together and taking pictures that will make the memories last a lifetime.
Multiple stations across the venue allowed each child to spend a special moment with each of the princesses.
Saturday’s “A Princess Party” is a testament to community spirit.
