Rev. Franklin H. Buskirk 

1931—2023

Rev. Franklin H. Buskirk, 92, of Auxier, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at the Prestonsburg Health Care Facility in Prestonsburg.

Born May 16, 1931, in Martin County, he was the son of the late Thomas Brose Buskirk and Euna Hall Buskirk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Williams Buskirk; one son, Thomas Brose Buskirk; and one brother, Harold Buskirk. 

Frank is survived by his wife, Anna Elaine Buskirk of Auxier; one son, Thomas Buskirk of Auxier; two grandchildren, Thomas Franklin Buskirk, currently serving in the United States Army 160th SOAR unit in Fort Campbell, and Alexandria Nicole Buskirk of Richmond; along with a host of nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, June 11, 2023, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Danny Fredrick and Paul Aiken officiating. Burial was at the Auxier Relocation Cemetery under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
