INEZ — Kentucky Blood Center is calling on donors in Martin County to save the summer by donating blood.

KBC will conduct a bloodmobile June 22 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Marion Hale Lodge in Inez.

All donors at this KBC drive will receive a limited-edition “Give Back, Give Blood” T-shirt (while supplies last).

Blood donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health, show a photo ID, and meet additional requirements. Sixteen-year-old donors must have a signed parental permission slip. Find one at kybloodcenter.org.
