Roger Bowen
1953—2023

Roger Bowen, 70, of Inez, passed away at his home Thursday, May 25, 2023.

He was born May 9, 1953, in Martin County to the late Sterling and Violet Bowen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Roger Bowen and Charlotte Bowen, four brothers and one sister. 

Roger is survived by one daughter, Violet Purkey and siblings, Ford Bowen and Kathy Patrick, both of Louisa, Closter Bowen, Mabel Bowen and Rose Mary Spaulding, all of Inez, Ralph Bowen and Dennis Bowen, both of Alabama, and Delphia Sampson of South Carolina. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
