Cletis ‘Bo’ Blackburn
1942—2023

Cletis “Bo” Blackburn, age 80, of Prestonsburg, formerly of Inez, passed away May 26, 2023, at the Veterans Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.

He was born June 6, 1942, at Peter Cave of Pigeon Roost to the late Jobe and Trixie Cains Blackburn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie Whitt Blackburn; one brother, John Blackburn; and four sisters, Mae Hickman, Margie Jude, Bertha Duncan and Eunice Robinson.

He is survived by two sons, Steven (Rachel Shane) Blackburn and Jeffery (Jeremy Salyers) Blackburn, and one sister, Thelma Moore.

Bo was a member of the U.S. Army and served his country in Vietnam.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Tom Dials officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens. Donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans Association in his memory. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
