Randy Lee Bowen

1970—2023

Randy Lee Bowen, 52, beloved son of Reynold and Oretha Bowen, went home to be with the Lord on May 12, 2023. 

He was born June 26, 1970.

Randy will forever be remembered by his brother, William (Susan); sisters, Judy Howell (Ronald) and Joyce Mills; and nieces, Nicole D. Mills and Hope A. Mills.

His devoted wife, Margie Bowen, and daughter, Chloe Elizabeth Bowen, preceded him in death. 

Randy spent his working career at the Martin County Public Library, where he started as a bookmobile driver. He retired as the computer specialist for the library. Randy was the Easter bunny, Santa and other characters for the children who visited the library. He loved working with the children.

Funeral services were led by Tim Preece at the Crum Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 15, 2023. Burial was in the Fletcher Jude Cemetery on Big Peter Cave.
