Graduated from Sheldon Clark High School; Employee at Big Sandy Regional Detention Center for 24-1/2 years. While there, I gave annual training for jailers and deputy jailers for four counties.

Please discuss your qualifications for this office and why you believe you are the best choice in this election. (150 words or less)

I believe I would be the best choice to serve as Martin County Jailer because I have the right experience. I worked at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center for 24-1/2 years. While there, I served as an instructor for the annual training for jailers and deputy jailers from different counties.

From 2016 to 2020, I worked for the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, where I held the position of court security supervisor. One of my many duties was transporting inmates to different facilities throughout the state of Kentucky.

I am currently serving as the Martin County Code Enforcement Officer, where I have been cleaning up our county to make it a safer and cleaner place to live. I love our little county and all the people who live here. I hope you consider me as your next Martin County Jailer.
