This is an office for a compassionate, understanding, and patient person. I believe I have an abundance of all of these qualities. I also believe I have the mental and physical ability to control an unreasonable person in a bad situation. In my experience with transporting inmates, I like to give hope and reassurance that there is a better way of life and they can make better decisions. I try to be helpful yet stern in these situations. I am a Christian, so I always try to let them know that there is always hope and love for them.

I really enjoy transporting and helping people who are in a bad spot in life. I, myself, have traveled down the wrong path before, and I know all it takes is one person to help you to change your whole life. I hope in my future as jailer of Martin County, I will be able to help many people change their lives and know there is a better way.
