Pearl (Seymour) Moore

1944—2023

Pearl (Seymour) Moore, age 79, of Tomahawk, passed away May 1, 2023, at her residence.

She was born April 22, 1944, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Leroy Seymour and Betty Jane Cormack Spillman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moore.

She is survived by her son, Robert Moore Jr. of Tomahawk; two daughters, Laura (David Bowling) Meeks of Van Lear and Lisa (Paula Harris) Moore of Huntington, West Virginia; one brother, Andy Spillman of Apple Valley, Ohio; and one sister, Mary Lee O’Dell of Mount Nebo, West Virginia. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Melanie (Travis Fannin) Moore, Bethany (Colby) Marcum, Brittany (Blake) Sizemore and Robert Brayden Moore, and two great-grandchildren, Jace Sizemore and Hadley Sizemore.

Pearl served as a fair board committee member for Martin County for many years.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, May 4, 2023, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home, with Rick Osborne officiating. Burial was at the Moore Cemetery under the direction of the Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
