Elder Hubert Presley Jr.

1949—2023

Elder Hubert Presley Jr., 73, of Lovely, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

Born April 16, 1949 in Pilgrim, he was a son of the late Hubert Sr. and Wilma Jackson Presley.

In addition to his parents, Jr. was preceded in death by his sisters, Patsy Marcum and Mary Preece.

Hubert was a retired coal miner and pastor of Little Home United Baptist Church of the Zion Association, where he was a minister for nearly 20 years.

Survivors include his spouse, Bonnie Mills Presley of Lovely; children, Jeffrey Presley of Worthington, Michael Presley of Lovely, Patricia Smith of Ulysses and Nichole Mayer of Winchester; and nine grandchildren. Additional survivors include his siblings, Betty Harris, Bonnie Daniels, Carolyn Copley, Richard Presley and James Presley, and his church family and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 17, 2023 at Mullins Family Funeral Home in Warfield with Elders David Stacy and Terry Harmon officiating. Burial was in the Warfield Cemetery. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
