LAKE CUMBERLAND — Martin County Cardinal anglers got the season underway Saturday in the Kentucky Bass Nation High School and Junior tournament at Lake Cumberland.

The 151-boat field included 115 in the high school division and 36 in junior.

Martin County High School duo Caleb Horn and Tanner Young finished in the top 20, placing 13th with three fish weighing 4.59 pounds.

Brayden Marcum and Tyler Goble finished ninth in the junior division.

Other MCHS anglers were Jerrod Haney and Brayden Blankenship, Corey Parsley and Weston Jude, and Harrison Jude and Peyton Cline, while the junior anglers included the duo of Peyton McPeek and Noah Crum.
