INEZ — Save A Lot in Inez has made significant changes inside and out in the past few months, and last week held a grand reopening to celebrate.

The event started March 30 and kicked off weeklong special sales.

The newly remodeled store on Route 645 features an updated, fresher look with an easier-to-shop layout, new produce fixtures, LED lighting, updated decor and signage, and wider aisles.

Dewayne Scott, store manager for 12 years, says that in addition to the new décor, the store also has expanded assortments with new offerings, more fresh produce, additional name brands, more non-foods selections, and meat cut fresh in-store.

“Everything has been redone, and we’ve added new items – more name brands,” Scott said. “We are excited about the new changes and proud to be a big part of Martin County. We take pride in providing our friends a clean, well-stocked store and friendly customer service.”

As customers enter the store, they will notice the clean, neat look, shiny floors, showcase freezers and new bold signage. A large fresh produce section will grab their attention, but perhaps most impressive is the meat department featuring all cuts of beef – ground beef, ribs, steaks of all kinds – pork, chicken and deli meats.

“We’re well-stocked with a wide variety, a good selection,” said Scott. “We’re here to satisfy you with a 100 percent moneyback guarantee on any product if not satisfied.”

Scott says the store strives to keep prices as low as possible and pass savings on to customers.

“These are difficult times in this world we live in with the rising cost of goods and fuel,” he said. “We try to do our best and want to thank our neighbors and friends in Martin County for supporting us. We appreciate each and every one of you.”

As part of the grand reopening celebration, Scott invites customers to come in and register for prizes to be given away April 23 – a Weber grill, 26-inch bicycle, UK popup canopy, backpack cooler, gift cards.

“You can register right up until the time of the drawing,” said Scott. “Come in and check out your new and improved Inez Save A Lot.”

Save A Lot has served Inez since its opening in 1999.

Store hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Saturday.
