Patricia Ann (Hackney) Blackburn
1951—2023

Patricia Ann (Hackney) Blackburn, 71, of Inez, Kentucky, passed away Feb. 15, 2023 at her residence.

She was born April 28, 1951 in Virgie to the late Edgar and Ida Rose Hackney. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Truman Hackney, Roger Hackney and James Hackney; two sisters, Brenda Mounts and Ruby Fitch; and one grandchild, Keagan Moore.

Survivors include her husband, Elbie Blackburn; two daughters, Nannie Lucy (Holly) Blackburn of Lexington and Rachel Ann (Anthony) Blackburn of Salyersville; one brother, Harvey Hackney of Debord; one sister, Debbie Hackney of Kermit, West Virginia; and two special sisters-in-law, Marsha Hackney and Irene Hensley. Additional survivors include five grandchildren, Breanna (Brian) Blackburn and Brooke (Cody) Robinson, both of Inez, Chelsey (Caden) Sexton of Salyersville and Chloe Moore and Caylee Moore, both of Pilgrim; two great-grandchildren, Rylan Fyffe and (Lil) Elbie McCoy; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, Feb. 20, 2023 in the Crum Funeral Home chapel. Burial was at the Damron Cemetery on Poplar Fork, under the direction of the Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
