Ruth Carol Fields

1975—2023

Ruth Carol Fields, 47, of Kermit, W.Va., passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2023 at Tug Valley ARH Reginal Medical Center.

She was born March 12, 1975 to Andy Booth and the late Patty Perry Booth.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Michael Fields; a sister that was more like a daughter, Gracie Fields; two brothers, Andy Jr. and Tommy Lee, both of Jennies Creek; two sisters, Brookie of Columbus, Ohio, and Marie of Yellow Creek; and two grandkids, Alexander Fields and Landon Fields.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, Jan. 16, 2023 at the Golden Springs Freewill Baptist Church in Kermit, W.Va., with Freddie Messer officiating. Burial was at the Messer-Fields Cemetery, under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
