Randy Hodge

1965—2023

Randy Hodge, 57, of Kermit, W.Va., passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2023 at the Tug Valley ARH Hospital in South Williamson.

Born April 16, 1965 in South Williamson, he was the son of Avanell Fields Hodge and the late William Arthur Hodge. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Hodge.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include a son, Kenneth Lee Gauze of Ohio, a daughter, Christina Ann Cooper of Ft. Gay, W.Va., four grandchildren, siblings William Hodge, Ronnie Hodge, Mark Hodge, Jeffrey Hodge and Patricia Gail Spurlock, all of Kermit, W.Va., and Wanda Sue Hodge of Michigan, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be all day Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2022  until the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Jenny’s Creek Baptist Church (Yellow Church). Joe Maynard and Billy Bear Messer will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hodge Cemetery on Jenny’s Creek, under the direction of the Mullins Family Funeral Home of Warfield.
