Rosa Marie Stevens

1956—2023

Rosa Marie Stevens, 66, of Kermit, W.Va., passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023 at Tug Valley ARH Hospital in South Williamson.

Born April 19, 1956 in Huntington, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late James Arthur and Polly Johnson Stevens. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, William Hodge, Wesley Johnson, James Waller Stevens and Timothy Stevens.

Rosa was a Christian and a housewife.

Survivors include her twin sister Teresa Stevens of Kermit, W.Va., sister Sharon Stafford of Ohio, and numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023 at the Jennies Creek Baptist Church (Little Yellow Church). There will be special services at 7 p.m. with Pastor Joe Maynard officiating. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023 at the church, with Joe Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Stevens Cemetery in Crum, W.Va. The family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. Mullins Family Funeral Home of Warfield is honored to serve the family.
